She is coauthor of The Parent’s Crash Course in Career Planning: Helping Your College Student Succeed, and also wrote as a graduate school/career advisor for U.S. News and World Report Online. Her background includes career consulting for “trailing spouses” of transferred Fortune 500 employees, recruiting for two Fortune 500 companies, and serving as a personnel officer in the U.S. Army. She holds a master’s degree in industrial relations from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University.
