The United States Air Force employs over 150,000 civilians in a full range of occupations.  Positions are located nationwide.  Mobility is required as a condition of employment.  U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance purposes.

Overview

  • Two to four-year training and developmental program
  • Most trainees will begin at the GS-7 or equivalent entry level
  • In-training promotion/salary increases to target grade of GS-9, 11, 12 or equivalent
