The negative economic climate in the United States over the past several months has clearly affected college recruiting expectations. Overall hiring expectations are still positive for the Class of 2008. Employers responding to the Job Outlook 2008 Spring Update survey expect to hire 8 percent more graduates from this year’s class compared with their actual number of hires from the class of 2007.
