document.writeln('In Spring 2001, graduating students were receiving more offers from consulting ');
document.writeln(' employers than any other type of employer. Consulting firms offered an average ');
document.writeln(' starting salary of $47,893, according to the Winter 2001 Salary Survey.* ');

document.writeln('Now, according to the Winter 2002 Salary Survey report, consulting employers ');
document.writeln(' rank 11th in terms of number of offers, and are offering an average salary of ');
document.writeln(' $43,070—a 10 percent drop from last year.

document.writeln('Communications companies and computer systems design/consulting/programming ');
document.writeln(' firms, ranked fourth and fifth among top employers of new college grads according ');
document.writeln(' to the Winter 2001 Salary Survey. They\'ve fallen to 15th and 16th, respectively. ');
document.writeln(' There also has been a corresponding decline in their average starting salary ');
document.writeln(' offers.

document.writeln('Some employers—accounting and engineering firms in particular—have ');
document.writeln(' remained top employers. And some employers are moving up in the number of job ');
document.writeln(' offers they have for new college grads. Petroleum/coal products manufacturers ');
document.writeln(' are now ranked fifth among employers of new college graduates, moving up from ');
document.writeln(' 12th. According to the Winter 2002 Salary Survey, these employers are ');
document.writeln(' offering an average starting salary of $51,685—a 4.6 percent increase over ');
document.writeln(' last year\'s average of $49,411.
