Agricultural engineer  Develops methods to conserve biological resources. Precision farming uses GPS software to monitor crop yields and target the need for fertilizers and herbicides.
Restoration ecologist, aquatic ecologist  Assists in design and implementation of stream, river, and wetlands restoration projects; conducts comprehensive lake management planning, aquatic invasive species assessment
Storm water technician  Monitors storm water structures for illicit connections and discharges. Collects water samples, conducts field analytical tests, and interprets results. Uses GPS, digital photography, and field survey data sheets.
